Collier County Recovery at a Glance

Since the federal disaster declaration for Hurricane Ian, Collier County residents have received more than $105.9 million in federal funds as of Dec. 12, 2022:

  • $42.2 million in FEMA grants to homeowners and renters.
  • $63.7 million in U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) low-interest disaster loans approved for homeowners, renters and businesses.

Individual Assistance in Collier County:

  • 32,790 homeowners and renters have been approved for $42,266,789 in federal grants through FEMA’s Individuals and Households Program. This includes:
    • $29,112,379 in Housing Assistance grants for home repair, home replacement, and/or rental assistance.
    • $13,154,410 in Other Needs Assistance grants to replace essential household items and for other critical disaster-related expenses.
  • 3,220 homeowners and renters have been approved for rental assistance.
  • Disaster Survivor Assistance (DSA) visited 11,000 households in Collier County.

U.S. Small Business Administration:

  • SBA has approved $63,781,600 in low-interest disaster loans to 756 applicants in Collier County.
  • SBA is operating a Business Recovery Center at The Naples Players at Sugden Community Theatre, 701 5th Ave. South, Naples, FL 34102.
    • Hours are Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Closed Saturdays and Sundays

Public Assistance:

  • Collier County was approved for assistance for debris removal, emergency protective measures and permanent work.
