The Federal Emergency Management Agency (“FEMA”) will be procuring reinsurance for the National Flood Insurance Program (“NFIP”) to be effective on or about January 1, 2019. To participate in the reinsurance procurement, vendors must submit a request to participate by November 19, 2018, and final tenders by November 29, 2018.

SACRAMENTO, Calif.  – Survivors who registered with FEMA for federal assistance due to one of California’s two 2020 wildfire disaster declarations receive letters containing the agency’s response to their application and the reason for that determination.

WASHINGTON – The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) announced that federal disaster assistance has been made available to the territory of the U.S. Virgin Islands to supplement territory recovery efforts in the areas affected by Hurricane Maria from September 16, 2017, and continuing.
