This part provides additional information applicable to assistance available under each Hazard Mitigation Assistance (HMA) program: Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP), Hazard Mitigation Grant Program Post Fire (HMGP Post Fire), Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities (BRIC) and Flood Mitigation Assistance (FMA). This section supplements the grant application and management information provided in Part 1 through Part 9 and the unique activity type guidance in Part 11, Part 12 and Part 13. This part does not provide all necessary information to apply for assistance through the HMA programs and must be read in conjunction with other relevant sections of the guidance, as well as relevant Notices of Funding Opportunity (NOFO).
