The Period of Performance (POP) is the period of time during which the Grantee is expected to complete the grant activities and to incur and expend approved funds. The POP for the each HMA program begins with the opening of the application period and ends no later than 36 months from the close of the application period. FEMA will not establish activity completion timelines for individual subgrants. Grantees are responsible for ensuring that all approved activities are completed by the end of the grant POP.
