Floridians who were affected by Hurricanes Milton, Helene or Debby may be eligible for FEMA assistance to repair or replace a vehicle.

FEMA assistance is limited to basic needs. It will not restore all property lost due to the Hurricanes Milton, Helene or Debby. Insurance coverage is the best way to recover after a disaster. However, FEMA assistance for personal property may be available if you are uninsured or underinsured.

Funeral Assistance may be available to eligible individuals and households who incurred expenses related to a death or disinterment attributed directly or indirectly to Tropical Storm Debby, Aug. 4-20, 2024, or Hurricane Helene.

FEMA Rental Assistance is available to eligible Tennessee renters and homeowners who cannot live in their homes because of damage caused by Tropical Storm Helene. If you continue to need Rental Assistance beyond the amount in your initial award, you may request Continued Temporary Housing Assistance.
