Disaster Recovery Centers

A DRC offers in-person support to individuals and businesses in counties included in the Texas federal disaster declaration for severe storms and flooding that began on June 24, 2019.

Recovery specialists from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and the Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) will be at the center to talk about assistance and to help anyone who needs guidance in filing an application. The DRC locations are currently open seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Starting Sunday, Aug. 18, 2019, all centers will be closed on Sunday and will operate from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday. Centers will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday.

The centers will be at the following locations:

 

Willacy County

Last day, Sept. 25, 2019 – closes at 7 p.m.

The State of Texas/Federal Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) in the city of La Feria will transition to a U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Disaster Loan Outreach Center (DLOC) Friday, Sept. 27.

 

SBA staff can answer questions from residents who applied for disaster loans. Representatives from FEMA will also be available for flood survivors who have questions about the status of their application.

 

Businesses have until March 17, 2020 to apply for economic injury disaster loans.

 

The DLOC will open at 9 a.m. on Sept. 27. Hours and location:
