State of Texas/FEMA Disaster Recovery Centers Change Hours of Operation

AUSTIN, Texas – Starting March 3, all State of Texas/FEMA Disaster Recovery Centers (DRCs) will close at 1 p.m. on Saturdays.

The 16 centers offer in-person support to individuals and businesses in counties included in the Texas federal disaster declaration for Hurricane Harvey and the subsequent floods.

Recovery specialists from the the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), the State, other agencies and Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) are at the centers to talk about assistance and to help anyone who needs guidance on their path to recovery.

Most centers will operate 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday and will be closed on Sunday. One center, Central Brazoria County Business Park (Brazoria County), will operate Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is closed on Saturday and Sunday.
