Swift Current Activations

On Dec. 5, 2024, FEMA announced an increase in available funding for fiscal year 2024 Swift Current making $500 million available. This funding is available to all eligible applicants and will help disaster survivors impacted by Hurricane Milton and Hurricane Helene recover quickly and protect their buildings from future damage.

As of Dec. 5, 2024, sixteen states and one territory have been activated for fiscal year 2024 Swift Current.

The application deadline date was provided to the applicant, shown in the table as “Application Submittal Close Date.” Applicant maximum set-aside amounts are based on eligibility criteria met.
