The extraordinary events of Hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Maria may cause delays on the FEMA helpline. Michigan flood survivors can choose to visit the Disaster Recovery Centers (DRCs) in Isabella and Midland counties, where a FEMA specialist will help you in person.

Disaster Recovery Centers in Midland and Mt. Pleasant are open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and will close permanently on 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 30.

Disaster Recovery Center Locations:

Isabella County
4855 E. Bluegrass Rd.
Mt. Pleasant, Mich. 48858

Midland County
Carpenter Street School
1407 W. Carpenter St.

FEMA specialists are in the DRCs to answer your questions about how to register for federal disaster assistance, explain what’s happening with your application and give tips on how you can get help for damage your insurance doesn’t cover.

Representatives of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) are also at DRC locations to provide information and answer questions about SBA low-interest disaster assistance loans to help homeowners, renters, businesses and certain private nonprofits recover.
