Beaumont, Port Arthur Disaster Recovery Centers to merge in Jefferson County

The State of Texas/Federal Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) in Beaumont will merge with the Port Arthur DRC on Thursday, May 31.

The Port Arthur center, which serves Jefferson County and surrounding areas, is located at:

Central Mall
3100 E. FM 365
Suite 130
Port Arthur, TX 77642
Hours: 9 a.m.-6 p.m., Monday-Friday

The current Beaumont center, which remains open until 6 p.m., Wednesday, May 30, is located at:

Old Uniform Store
3863 Stagg Drive
Beaumont, TX 77701
Hours: 9 a.m.-6 p.m., Monday-Friday

Individuals and businesses in counties included in the Texas federal disaster declaration for Hurricane Harvey and the subsequent floods also can get help by:

  • Logging into their account at DisasterAssistance.gov.
  • Calling the FEMA Helpline at 800-621-3362 (voice, 711/VRS-Video Relay Service) (TTY: 800-462-7585). Multilingual operators are available (press 2 for Spanish).
  • Downloading the FEMA app, available for Apple and Android mobile devices. To download visit: fema.gov/mobile-app.
