HICKORY, N.C. – If you had uninsured losses from Tropical Storm Helene, don’t wait any longer to apply for financial help from FEMA. The deadline for applications is Saturday, March 8.

FEMA assistance may help homeowners and renters who can’t return to their home because it was damaged by Tropical Storm Helene. After a home inspection, you may be eligible for rental assistance. This applies to applicants currently in FEMA-paid hotels and to those who previously received Displacement Assistance.
