ST. PAUL – FEMA/State Disaster Recovery Centers will open Tuesday, August 27, 2024, to help residents kickstart their recovery after the severe storms and flooding of June 16 – July 4.
ST. PAUL – Minnesotans who applied for federal assistance may need to follow-up with FEMA and provide more information or documents to move their application forward. Those who still need help recovering after the June 16 – July 4 storms and flooding and haven’t yet applied, still have time to do so too.
After you apply for FEMA assistance, don’t wait to apply for a loan from the U.S. Small Business Administration too. You aren’t required to apply for an SBA loan to be considered for FEMA grants, but you could miss out on SBA’s help with disaster-related expenses that FEMA assistance doesn’t cover.
