ST. PAUL – A FEMA/State Disaster Recovery Center will open Saturday, August 10, 2024, to help residents kickstart their recovery after the severe storms and flooding of June 16 – July 4.

ST. PAUL – A FEMA/State Disaster Recovery Center will open Friday, August 9, 2024, to help residents kickstart their recovery after the severe storms and flooding of June 16 – July 4.

ST. PAUL – Just over one week since the federal disaster declaration for the summer storms and flooding, Minnesota survivors have received more than $1 million in FEMA recovery assistance.

ST. PAUL - Disaster Survivor Assistance (DSA) teams from FEMA are now available to assist in communities affected by the summer storms and flooding. Teams will help residents navigate the federal assistance process. DSA teams have already started in Cottonwood and St. Louis counties and will move to the other impacted areas in the weeks ahead.

For residents in Blue Earth, Cook, Cottonwood, Faribault, Freeborn, Goodhue, Itasca, Jackson, Lake, Le Sueur, Mower, Nicollet, Nobles, Rice, Rock, St. Louis, Steele, Waseca, and Watonwan counties who report they cannot or may not be able to safely live in their home, FEMA may need to perform an inspection of the damaged dwelling.
