New Mexicans with medical or dental expenses caused by the South Fork and Salt Fires and flooding (that began June 17 and continuing) may be eligible for help from FEMA. FEMA provides medical and dental assistance under the Individuals and Households Program (IHP).
FEMA may provide assistance to underinsured residents of New Mexico who were impacted by the South Fork and Salt Fires and flooding. Even if you have insurance, FEMA may be able to help with costs that insurance doesn’t cover.
Maybe you have already begun fixing-up the damage to your home in the wake of the South Fork and Salt Fires and flooding. Or maybe you have no idea of even where to begin.
FEMA disaster assistance may provide funds for basic home repairs, rental for temporary housing and other uninsured expenses resulting from the fires and flooding that began June 17, in New Mexico. It is not a replacement for insurance.
