FEMA Administrator Deanne Criswell announced today that President Joseph R. Biden, Jr. made additional disaster assistance available to the state of Vermont to supplement state, local and tribal recovery efforts in the areas affected by severe flooding beginning on July 7, 2023, and continuing.

FEMA encourages Vermont flooding survivors to be alert and report any suspicious activity or potential fraud by scam artists, identity thieves and other criminals.

Vermont homeowners and renters affected by the recent flooding in Vermont who live in counties that have recently been designated for Individual Assistance could be eligible for help from FEMA.
