Release Date: The National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) aims to educate the public about mudflow, including what it is, when it can occur and whether it’s covered by a flood insurance policy.
Release Date: FEMA is beginning the process to update its Tribal Mitigation Planning Policy. This policy was last updated in 2017. The policy helps FEMA officials review tribal mitigation plans in a fair and consistent way. It also informs tribal governments about what the plans must include to receive FEMA approval. While the underlying regulations are not changing, this policy update will help keep the tribal policy current.
