SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico – The federal government, in coordination with the government of Puerto Rico, is conducting air drops of food and water in municipalities based on Puerto Rico’s identified priorities. Air drops are occurring today in the following locations:
- Cidra
- Coamo
- Humacao
- Juana Diaz
- Lares
- Las Piedras
- Maunabo
- Moca
- Morovis
- Orocovis
- San Lorenzo
The Puerto Rico government, local governments, and their federal partners continuously evaluate the needs of Puerto Rico’s municipalities. Air drops, ground deliveries, and other methods of food and water distribution will continue until all needs are met.

The SBA is the federal government’s primary source of money for the long-term rebuilding of disaster-damaged property. SBA helps businesses of all sizes, private non-profit organizations, homeowners and renters, which can cover the cost of replacing lost or disaster-damaged real estate and personal property. These disaster loans cover losses not fully compensated by insurance or other recoveries and do not duplicate benefits of other agencies or organizations.
