FEMA will host two webinars to discuss the newly implemented 2024 Tribal Declarations Interim Guidance, effective December 3, 2024. The consultation is an opportunity for Tribal Nations to provide input and ask questions about disaster declaration updates and their impact. The public webinars, which are not formal consultations, are designed to share details and answer general questions about the updated guidance.

Additional Webinar Information

These virtual sessions will provide an overview of the guidance and its implications but are not intended as forums for formal tribal consultation. Written comments or questions can still be submitted via email with the subject line “2024 Tribal Declarations Interim Guidance – Comments” to fema-tribal@fema.dhs.gov. Comments are due by January 2, 2025.
