Missouri: City of Ladue Acquisition of Flood-Prone Properties with Buyout Program

Ladue City will buyout and demolish flood-prone properties.

Ladue, Missouri: $3.34 million

The city of Ladue’s proposed project includes the buyout and demolition of six identified flood-prone properties that have received 24 severe repetitive and repetitive loss claims. The city intends to maintain existing vegetation and trees at the properties as much as possible and only minor grading and/or ground disturbing will occur to demolish existing structures, match existing contours, and restore ground vegetation.
