FEMA Preparedness Non-Disaster Assistance to Firefighter Grants 2005 to 2024
In a Presidentially declared disaster area, FEMA may provide money for eligible survivors to repair or replace personal property lost or damaged in a disaster, including tools or equipment needed for school or work. This assistance is also available to those who are self-employed.
Participating in the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) unlocks valuable resources, including access to federal flood insurance, grants, and loans. As you develop your Hazard Mitigation Plan, this worksheet will help address plan requirements by finding opportunities to meet and exceed NFIP requirements.
