The Infrastructure Systems (IS) RSF serves as a collaborative forum for federal government engagement with states, local governments, tribes, and territories (SLTT) as well as private sector representatives to focus on public engineering services that can reduce risks from disasters and expedite recovery.
IS is one of six RSFs, established under the National Disaster Recovery Framework, that support recovery efforts of SLTT governments before, during and after disasters. The IS RSF is coordinated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and consists of a National Coordinator, primary agency points of contact, Regional Coordinators, and a cadre of staff available to deploy to disasters.
Mission Statement
The IS RSF facilitates the integration of the capabilities of the federal government to support local, state and tribal governments and other infrastructure owners and operators in their efforts to achieve recovery goals relating to the public engineering of the nation’s infrastructure systems.
