State of Texas/FEMA Disaster Recovery Center in San Patricio County Changes Days of Operation

The State of Texas/Federal Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) in Aransas Pass will no longer be open on Saturdays, beginning April 28.

The DRC will remain open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday.

DRCs offer in-person support to individuals and businesses in counties included in the Texas federal disaster declaration for Hurricane Harvey and the subsequent floods. Recovery specialists from the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), the state and FEMA are at the centers to talk about assistance and to help anyone who needs help with recovery.

The San Patricio County DRC is at the following location:

Aransas Pass Civic Center
700 W. Wheeler Ave.
Aransas Pass, Texas 78336
Hours: Monday-Friday, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
 

Individuals and businesses in counties included in the Texas federal disaster declaration for Hurricane Harvey and the subsequent floods also can get help by:

  • Logging into their account at DisasterAssistance.gov.
  • Calling the FEMA Helpline at 800-621-3362 (voice, 711/VRS-Video Relay Service) (TTY: 800-462-7585). Multilingual operators are available (press 2 for Spanish).
  • Downloading the FEMA app, available for Apple and Android mobile devices. To download visit: fema.gov/mobile-app.
  • Visiting any of the disaster recovery centers still open. You can find locations of other recovery centers online at www.fema.gov/DRC.
