The FEMA Technological Hazards Division (THD) will host a series of listening sessions to gather feedback on existing scenario guidance found in the 2023 Radiological Emergency Preparedness (REP) Program Manual.

The Department of Homeland Security, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will evaluate a Biennial Radiological Emergency Preparedness Exercise for communities around the Susquehanna Steam Electric Station. The exercise will occur during the week of October 21, 2024 to assess the ability of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to respond to an emergency at the nuclear facility.

FEMA will host a series of 60–90-minute webinars to provide an overview of notable changes found in the 2023 REP Program Manual.

PHILADELPHIA – The Department of Homeland Security, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will evaluate a Biennial Radiological Emergency Preparedness Exercise for communities around the North Anna Power Station. The exercise will occur during the week of July 15, 2024, to assess the ability of the Commonwealth of Virginia to respond to an emergency at the nuclear facility.

The Department of Homeland Security, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will evaluate a Biennial Radiological Emergency Preparedness Exercise at the Beaver Valley Power Station. The exercise will occur on June 11, 2024 to assess the ability of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and State of West Virginia to respond to an emergency at the nuclear facility.
