The Authorized Equipment List (AEL) is a tool for emergency managers, first responders and homeland security professionals. It contains approved equipment types allowed under FEMA’s preparedness grant programs.

NFPA 1994 Class 1 certifications specify these elements by make/model -- using any element other than those specified invalidates the certification. The elements of this Item should be purchased and used as a complete ensemble.
