Funding by Disaster Type

States, communities, territories and tribal communities are eligible for a variety of grant funding depending on which type of disaster is affecting their community.

The Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities and Flood Mitigation Assistance programs provide states, local communities, tribes and territories funding to address high-level future risks to natural disasters such as wildfires, drought, hurricanes, earthquakes, extreme heat, and increased flooding to foster greater community resilience and reduce disaster suffering.
