BATON ROUGE, La.– The Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) in Rayne will close for good at 5 p.m. Dec. 23.

The DRC/Appeal Centers will be closed Dec. 24 through 27 in observance of the Christmas holiday. The centers will reopen Dec. 28 at 8 a.m.

No appointments are necessary. Centers are open Monday through Friday; hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturdays 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., closed Sundays.
Louisiana hurricane survivors may visit any other DRC in the state. To locate the nearest center or check hours of operation, visit: egateway.fema.gov/ESF6/DRCLocator. DRCs are operated by FEMA and the Governor's Office of Homeland Security & Emergency Preparedness.
