Collier County Recovery at a Glance as of Oct. 31, 2022

Since the federal disaster declaration for Hurricane Ian, Collier County residents have received more than $61.6 million in federal funds as of Oct. 31, 2022:

  • $35.8 million in FEMA grants to homeowners and renters.
  • $25.8 million in U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) low-interest disaster loans approved for homeowners, renters and businesses.

Individual Assistance in Collier County

12,991 homeowners and renters have been approved for $35,850,596 in federal grants through FEMA’s Individuals and Households Program. This includes:

  • $23,950,263 in Housing Assistance grants for home repair, home replacement, and/or rental assistance.
  • $11,900,333 in Other Needs Assistance grants to replace essential household items and for other critical disaster-related expenses.
  • 2,681 homeowners and renters have been approved for rental assistance.
  • 7,159 home inspections issued; 6,992 completed.
  • Disaster Survivor Assistance (DSA) visited 4,579 households in Collier County.

U.S. Small Business Administration

  • SBA has approved $25,889,800 in low-interest disaster loans to 299 applicants in Collier County.
  • SBA is operating a Business Recovery Center at The Naples Players at Sugden Community Theatre,

701 5th Ave. South, Naples, FL 34102.

  • Hours are Monday 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Tuesday – Sunday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Public Assistance

Collier County was approved for assistance for debris removal, emergency protective measures and permanent work.
