Logistics Management Specialist Position Responsibilities
- Pre-stage commodities before a catastrophic incident.
- Assist with set up and break down of staging area, participate in the development of After-Action Reports, update the processes, procedures, and protocols.
- Coordinate the retrograde of commercial trailers and commodities.
- Manage and participate in multiple projects identifying risk, maintaining timelines, and ensure work is completed.
- Coordinate disaster logistics support and resources with Federal, State, Local, Territorial, and Tribal partners.
Emergency Management Specialist Position Responsibilities
- Coordinate with voluntary agency partners to support the delivery of disaster recovery efforts.
- Determine needed and available resources and capacities to support emergency recovery activities.
- Engage with stakeholders concerning complex threats and hazards to integrate long-range planning and preparedness efforts.
- Communicate and coordinate with other Federal, State, local, tribal, territorial, nongovernmental organizations, and private sector disaster programs to ensure effective and comprehensive plans for a coordinated response.
