FEMA has approved an additional $145 million in Public Assistance funding for the COVID-19 response in Colorado. The assistance was made available under a major disaster declaration issued March 28, 2020. FEMA has now approved more than $1.8 billion in Public Assistance grant funds to Colorado for their pandemic response.

FEMA has now approved more than $187 million in Public Assistance grant funds to North Dakota for their pandemic response.

FEMA and disaster service representatives are reaching out to Guam survivors of Typhoon Mawar that have applied for disaster assistance and federal programs. Representatives may call for a variety of reasons such as issues with applications (missing documents, insurance settlement paperwork, etc.), follow-up on access and functional needs and/or to schedule inspections at the address where damage was reported.

As The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) continues working to collect Typhoon Mawar related residential debris throughout the island of Guam, residential pick-up will begin in Santa Rita and Umatac on July 31.
