The State of Florida and FEMA opened Disaster Recovery Centers in Taylor and Citrus counties to provide one-on-one help to people affected by Hurricane Idalia. The centers will remain open until further notice.

Survivors who applied for assistance from FEMA after Hurricane Idalia will receive an eligibility letter from FEMA in the mail or via email.

If you receive a letter from FEMA and you disagree with FEMA’s decision about your eligibility, you can appeal the decision. FEMA might need more information to continue processing your application.
