The State of Florida and FEMA opened two Disaster Recovery Centers in Pinellas County and one in Hernando County to provide one-on-one help to people affected by Hurricane Idalia. The centers will remain open until further notice.

If you live in Citrus, Columbia, Dixie, Gilchrist, Hamilton, Hernando, Jefferson, Lafayette, Levy, Madison, Manatee, Pasco, Pinellas, Sarasota, Suwannee or Taylor counties and had personal property damaged or destroyed by Hurricane Idalia, FEMA may provide financial assistance under the Other Needs Assistance provision of the Individuals and Households Program.

If you had funeral or reburial expenses as a result of Hurricane Idalia in Citrus, Columbia, Dixie, Gilchrist, Hamilton, Hernando, Jefferson, Lafayette, Levy, Madison, Manatee, Pasco, Pinellas, Sarasota, Suwannee or Taylor counties, funeral assistance may be available from FEMA.
