WASHINGTON -- Multiple states were affected by an outbreak of tornadoes Friday night. FEMA is monitoring to meet the needs of survivors as well as state, local and tribal governments and is actively coordinating with affected states to address unmet needs.

Due to the incoming severe weather threat approaching the region, the Commonwealth of
Kentucky and FEMA have determined that all Disaster Recovery Centers and Mobile Registration Centers will be
closed Thursday, Jan. 6, 2022.
Following a year that brought tornadoes, flooding and landslides to Kentucky, FEMA remains on the ground coordinating efforts with the Kentucky Division of Emergency Management (KYEM) to help the Commonwealth and its residents rebuild and recover with an eye on resilience.
