The Federal Emergency Management Agency will be sending nearly $8.7 million to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to reimburse South Shore Hospital for the cost of contracting for additional staff during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Federal Emergency Management Agency will be sending nearly $13.2 million to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to reimburse UMass Memorial Health Care for the cost of contracting for temporary nursing staff and paying existing staff for additional work during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Federal Emergency Management Agency will be sending more than $1.2 million to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to reimburse Southcoast Hospitals Group, Inc. for the cost of contracting for additional nursing staff to handle increased patient loads during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Federal Emergency Management Agency will be sending more than $4.5 million to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to reimburse the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) for the costs of testing students, staff and faculty during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Federal Emergency Management Agency will be sending more than $2.1 million to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to reimburse Brockton Hospital for the cost of contracting for temporary medical staff during the COVID-19 pandemic.
