PANAMA CITY, Fla. — FEMA has approved $1,610,581 for the state of Florida to reimburse Chemical Addictions Recovery Effort, Inc. for emergency protective measures taken after Hurricane Michael.

 

This grant reimburses Chemical Addictions Recovery Effort, Inc. for the cost of emergency repairs to its facilities, which included removing non-salvageable drywall and flooring as well as placing tarps on damaged roofs.

PANAMA CITY, Fla. — FEMA has approved three projects totaling nearly $21.6 million to reimburse the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) for debris removal activities following Hurricane Michael.

PANAMA CITY, Fla. — FEMA has approved $5,294,215 for the state of Florida to reimburse the city of Blountstown for debris removal costs following Hurricane Michael. Disaster-generated debris posed a threat to public health, safety, natural resources and tourism.

PANAMA CITY, Fla. — FEMA has approved an additional $5,237,572 for the state of Florida to reimburse Talquin Electric Cooperative, Inc. for emergency protective measures taken after Hurricane Michael.

 

This grant reimburses Talquin Electric for the cost of response and recovery efforts, such as clearing hanging limbs from power poles and operating generators to maintain pumping stations during a three-week power outage.

PANAMA CITY, Fla. — FEMA has approved $2,023,745 for the state of Florida to reimburse the Bay County Sheriff’s Office for the cost of emergency protective measures taken after Hurricane Michael.

 

This grant reimburses the sheriff’s office for response and recovery efforts, such as search and rescue, traffic control and safety patrol following the October 2018 storm.
