Pasco County will elevate single-family residence.
Pasco County, Florida: $230,737
Project Description
Pasco County will elevate a single-family home in New Port Richey to address repetitive flooding of the living areas. The property has received four payments from the National Flood Insurance Program. The one-story structure was built in 1969 on a slab-on-grade foundation. It is in a coastal flood zone with a Base Flood Elevation (BFE) of 11 feet. The structure will be elevated on a stem wall foundation with a design flood elevation of 2 feet above the BFE to prevent future floodwaters from reaching the home’s living areas.
