Project Description
The city of St. Petersburg will elevate a severe repetitive loss single-family home which has received four National Flood Insurance Program payments. The one-story structure is in the coastal AE flood zone with a Base Flood Elevation (BFE) of nine feet and the structure’s lowest floor elevation is four feet. The structure must be elevated at least seven feet to meet the proposed minimum design flood elevation of 11 feet by constructing new footers and foundation walls to support the structure and protect against a 100-year storm event.
