St. Petersburg will elevate one single-family residence.
St. Petersburg, Florida: $415,695
Project Description
The city of St. Petersburg will elevate one single-family residence by constructing new footers and foundation walls to support the elevated slab and structure. The one-story structure was built in 1971 with a history of being respectively flooded and receiving National Flood Insurance Program payments which qualifies the property as a severe repetitive loss property.
The structure’s lowest floor elevation is 4.3 feet and requires the existing structure to be elevated at least 6.7 feet to meet the proposed minimum design flood elevation of 11 feet. Once complete, the home will be protected against a 100-year storm event.
