City of Miami Beach will provide 100-year storm protection for two residential structures.
Miami, Florida: $820,682
Project Description
The city of Miami Beach will elevate two single-family residential structures that are insured under the National Flood Insurance Program and have submitted five loss claims between the two structures. One is a severe repetitive loss property. Based on the preliminary Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM), both structures are within an AE flood zone with a Base Flood Elevation (BFE) and the project will elevate the flood-prone residential structures by a minimum of 2.5 feet above the BFE to provide protection against a 100-year storm event.
