The Federal Emergency Management Agency’s (FEMA) Region 9 Administrator authorized the use of federal funds on November 6 at 2:36 p.m. PST / 5:36 p.m. EST to assist the state of California in combating the Mountain Fire, currently burning in Ventura County.
This evening, FEMA authorized the use of federal funds to help with firefighting costs for the Bear Den Fire and the Elk Horn Fire, burning in McKenzie County and on the Fort Berthold Reservation.
