Hazard Mitigation Officers
FEMA's Hazard Mitigation Assistance grant programs are provided to states, tribes or territories who are applicants. These entities manage funds and provide sub-grants to local governments. Local communities can contact their respective hazard mitigation officer for more information.

Hazard Mitigation Assistance Trifold Brochure (Printable)
FEMA has updated (June 2024) its printable Hazard Mitigation Assistance (HMA) trifold brochure, making it easier to share information about its grant programs and other funding opportunities. The trifold is printable in color or black and white and discusses eligibility, including common activities that are eligible for HMA funding, by program; and reviews cost-share requirements.
