Reporting Child Abuse in New Jersey
The COVID-19 incident period ended on May 11, 2023. FEMA will continue to provide funeral assistance until Sept. 30, 2025, to those who have lost loved ones due to this pandemic.
April is Child Abuse Prevention Month, a time to raise awareness of child abuse and the steps to prevent it. Children are at a higher risk of abuse and neglect during emergencies including the COVID-19 pandemic. This webinar features guest speakers from the New Jersey Department of Children and Families to discuss how and when to report child abuse and neglect in the state of New Jersey, and the process of case assignment.
