West Virginia Recovery: Flooding and Mudslides April 16, 2025 Incident Period: Feb. 15 – 18, 2025 Declaration: Feb. 26, 2025 (Individual Assistance); March 19, 2025 (Public Assistance) Key Messages Deadline to apply for Individual Assistance is April 28, 2025. When applying for FEMA assistance, residents should provide their 911 address as the location at the time of disaster so that their application is accurate.

Raleigh County, W.Va., Disaster Recovery Center opens April 15

A Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) will open in Raleigh County at 8 a.m. April 15, 2025. FEMA encourages residents, including homeowners and renters, of the disaster-impacted counties to register for assistance.
