Event Details

FEMA is continuing a crucial conversation on advancing equity in disaster resilience. The FEMA Civil Rights Summit 2.0 (CR Summit 2.0) will focus on engaging members of the public with first-hand knowledge of how FEMA can better meet the needs of underserved communities before, during and after disasters. The CR Summit 2.0 provides opportunities for information sharing regarding FEMA’s programs and civil rights and equity efforts. During a panel discussion, FEMA senior leadership will talk with national civil rights organizations about their continuing efforts to identify actual and perceived biases impacting equal access to and equitable impact of the agency’s programs and services.

This event will be presented in English and translated into Spanish, with captioning and Sign Language Interpretation provided for each.
