More than $4.4 billion in federal grants, disaster loans and flood insurance payments have been provided to the state of Florida and to households affected by Hurricane Ian to help survivors jumpstart their recovery.

More than 900,000 households have applied for federal disaster assistance, but there are only three weeks left to apply for damages related to Hurricane Ian. Survivors whose primary residence is in one of the 26 counties designated for federal disaster assistance for Hurricane Ian are encouraged to apply.

Most Disaster Recovery Centers will be closed Friday, Dec. 23 through Monday, Dec. 26, 2022. The centers will also be closed Friday, Dec. 30, 2022, through Monday, Jan. 2, 2023, with the following four exceptions
