Residents in parts of central California and western Nevada are urged to pay attention to local officials as additional heavy rains and flooding are predicted.

FEMA announced today that federal disaster assistance has been made available to the state of California to supplement state, tribal and local response efforts due to emergency conditions resulting from severe winter storms, flooding, landslides and mudslides beginning on March 9, 2023, and continuing.
