If you apply for FEMA assistance and indicate that you cannot or may not be able to live safely in your home, FEMA will perform an on-site inspection to verify the disaster-caused damage.
Individuals affected by the April 2-6 severe storms, straight-line winds, tornadoes, flooding, landslides and mudslides in Boone, Cabell, Fayette, Kanawha, Lincoln, Marshall, Nicholas, Ohio, Putnam, Wayne and Wetzel counties may be eligible for reimbursement for repairs they made to their homes.

Texans who sustained losses from the storms and flooding April 26-June 5 have one month remaining to apply for federal assistance. The deadline is July 16, 2024.
