Pasco County will elevate one single-family residence in coastal AE flood zone.
Pasco County, Florida: $228,375
Project Description
Pasco County will elevate a single-family residence in the coastal AE flood zone with a Base Flood Elevation (BFE) of 11 feet. The one-story structure was built in 1968 on a slab-on-grade foundation and it will be elevated on a stem wall with footers, with a design flood elevation of 2 feet above the BFE. The structure’s lowest floor elevation is 4.5 feet. This will require the existing structure to be elevated at least 8.5 feet to meet the proposed minimum design flood elevation of 13 feet. Once complete, the house will be protected against a 100-year storm event.
