FEMA invites Tribal Nations to attend a tribal consultation on Safeguarding Tomorrow Revolving Loan Fund (Safeguarding Tomorrow RLF).

Event Details

FEMA will host a virtual tribal consultation with Tribal Nations to discuss the new Safeguarding Tomorrow RLF program. The purpose of this consultation is to gather feedback from Tribal leaders to inform program implementation for future funding opportunities. Senior leadership from FEMA's Office of Resilience and Office of External Affairs, Office of Tribal Affairs will help facilitate the consultation. 

Tribal Consultation Discussion Questions

  1. What recommendations or concerns should FEMA consider to improve access to funding resources through the Safeguarding Tomorrow RLF program for interested Tribal Nations?
  2. What potential challenges or opportunities could there be for interested Tribal Nations to participate in the Safeguarding Tomorrow RLF program? 
  3. Do you have any other comments or feedback that could help inform the Safeguarding Tomorrow RLF program’s implementation for future funding opportunities so that they may better serve Tribal Nations?
