Longport, New Jersey: $849,375

Project Description

Longport will begin Phase 2 of the Winchester Avenue Resiliency Project by replacing and installing storm sewer infrastructure to benefit 356 structures, including 19 repetitive and severe repetitive loss homes, that are insured under the National Flood Insurance Program. The project will build larger storm sewer pipes and new inlets that will increase the capacity of the drainage system to convey stormwater to the new pump stations built under Phase 1 of this project. This phase will also replace a bulkhead and restore roadways as needed, to more than double the flow capacity of the current storm sewer infrastructure.
