PANAMA CITY, Fla. — Help is still available for Hurricane Michael survivors through the Disaster Case Management (DCM) program.
DCM case managers work closely with disaster survivors to identify their recovery needs, develop a goal-oriented recovery plan and match them with resources to help them achieve disaster recovery.
FEMA works closely with state, local and community partners to identify the many recovery programs, resources and services available for survivors.
The state of Florida has contracted with Compass82 and Disaster Services Corporation – St. Vincent de Paul USA to work with faith-based and volunteer organizations to support survivors through DCM. Case managers help residents achieve their permanent housing solutions and find other disaster recovery resources.
Bay County residents can reach a case manager by contacting Compass82 at 850-848-4357. Case managers are also available in-person at the county’s Community Resource Center at 703 W. 15th St. (entrance on Florida Ave.) from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and from 9 a.m. – 7 p.m. Tuesday.
